TYPE'S OF COMMUNICATION

Through the process of communication, communication is split into two types-
1)Simplex Communications.
2)Duplex Communications.
Simplex Communication: This is basic communication, this type of communication is known as one-way communication.
In this communication, there is a sender and receiver or multiple receivers, the sender sends a message to the receiver. This means the only one-way message has to send, another device that can not able to send an acknowledgment or reply.
Examples -Radio broadcast communication, Television. 
Duplex communication: It is two-way communication. By the nature of two-way communication, it's further divided into two type -
Half-duplex and Full duplex 
Half-duplex: In this type of communication source and destination are not talk simultaneously, one completes 
his talk then another one starts talking.
Example: walkie-talkie.

Full Duplex: In this type of communication source and destination are simultaneously talk to each.
Example: Mobile phone

The general meaning of Routing is "the scheduling of the route or itinerary of people, freight, etc." In the case of networks Routing is a process by which the router finds the best path for a data packet in between source and destination. Note: there are two types of protocols  Routed Protocol and Routing Protocol. Routed protocol : Routed protocol is a protocol that helps to travel data packets in the network. VLAN

In general, the switch has one common broadcast domain and a separate collision domain. Due to this common collision domain switch made an inefficient communication. For this phenomenon, CPU utilization of switch increased which made the production network slow. By use of VLAN(Virtual local area network) We can able to logically segregate the broadcast domain into multiple separate broadcast domains. If I go with a general definition of VLAN, VLAN is a process or technique by which logically divided the broadcast domain into multiple separate broadcast domains. By default, every switch has five VLAN's. VLAN 1,1002,1003,1004,1005. We can not delete or modify this VLAN. Vlan 1-Generally all switch port stays in this VLAN.
